Spring is here :)

Spring is here, the boots and gloves are finally back in the shed where they belong, and so far the wind is playing ball!! Clean force 3-5 winds are a regular occurance, and other than last week, weve got sunny dry weather.

Its been one of the best surfing winters in years. Heres a pic I took whilst paddling out at on eof the local points breaks in january. Cold water but it was worth it!

Well the water is finally warming up, and at the moment its sunny and YES!!! windy! book your lessona now in time to be ripping for summer.

As well as being a Stella kite surf spot, aberdyfi is based at the southern most tip of Snowdonia and has some of the best mountain biking in the country within minuites of the coast. The now legendary Machynlleth Cli machx trail is 10 miles away, and just 6 miles down the road, Pennal's forestry has miles and miles of rustic riding and some less rustic north shore trails to check out. See the vids below. The Howies, Dyfi enduro is also based here, first weekend in May.

The water may still be a tad baltic at the mo, but spring is just around the corner! In a months time the water will have heated up considerably, and boots and gloves will be a distant memory. pier jumping kite surfers and 50 knot wind!

What a windy week. The wind just continues to pour on through.. The start of the week saw 2 kite surfers make the news at ten by jumping over a pier, then today here at Aberdyfi and Borth we get regular 50 knot gusts throught the day. It just doesnt get much windier than that!!

WEll with December just around the corner, were fully into winter. The water is still pretty warm, at the moment anyway!

Surf and wind have both been good, and this weekend looks like another good one. Were taking a month off from teaching, but will resume again mid december, so book your places now.
